Hangil E-type

‹ Back

Typeface in two styles (regular and condensed) developed for the latin names on the bilingual and trilingual street and road signs of South Korea. The regular typeface is narrow because of the length of some names. For the very long names an even more condensed version was designed.

Commissioned by Studio Dumbar, Rotterdam and
Hong-Ik University, Seoul

Later the typeface was renamed and expanded for retail use. There are two versions available for licencing, Panno Sign and Panno Text.
